Today our Grade 6 French Immersion students got to put their teaching skills to the test by helping Grade 5 (English) students with some basic French vocabulary. How do you ask to go to the bathroom in French? Fill up your water bottle? Borrow a pencil? Our fifth graders get some practical advice through peer-tutoring.
IMPORTANT BUSING NOTICE: Effective immediately, the PRSD has cancelled ALL AFTERNOON BUS ROUTES (except for Red Earth Creek) for December 2 because of a strong projection for a significant amount of freezing rain expected as the school day ends.
While we cannot always predict when bus cancellations are required, we do understand the strain or inconvenience these decisions have on our families. Please know that all students will be kept safe at their schools until a parent or guardian is able to come and pick them up.
