Canada has been called a "cultural mosaic." As such, we have a responsibility to preserve and honour the diverse cultures of our citizens. Today, Miss Holmes (seated, centre) helped organize a photo of some of our students who wore orange to recognize the injustices of Canada's residential school system. We will be closed on Thursday, September 30 to observe the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation. Be sure to drive past the school on Friday when our school playground fence will be covered in ribbons with words of encouragement, support, and empathy for those impacted by Residential Schools from the past to present.
